As founder Zach Bush, MD researched the microbiome, he continued to ask deeper questions. Through research and reflection, Zach discovered that all paths lead back to agriculture—and that the current food system and chemical companies are impacting our disconnection to health, and ultimately, our disconnection to nature.
It was clear that a systemic level change was necessary. Zach was soon called to a higher purpose.
In 2018, Farmer's Footprint, a non-profit organization, would be founded by Zach Bush, MD to unite, inspire, and accelerate the movement towards regenerative food systems as a means to restore human and planetary health. This work includes dedicated efforts to ban glyphosate and over 7,000 people have joined the Farmer's Footprint community to date.
And because the way we farm is directly connected to the carbon cycle and health of our planet, in addition to the chronic issue of plastic, tires, and agricultural waste plaguing the Earth, another layer of systems change could not be ignored. Zach's mission continued to expand…
